BURGERSFORT – The South African Police Service in Burgersfort comprised of various police units and other external stakeholders led by the Station Commander, Brigadier Augustine Mmboyi, hosted a Women’s Month Gala Dinner hosted at George Resort on Friday, 19 August 2022.

The event was graced by the attendance of the Royal Queen, Kgosihadi Phasha and Local K9 Unit, FCS Unit, LCRC together with the Businesses Against Crime, Municipality Traffic Police, Departments of Health and Social Development.

The following were addressed:

– Gender-Based Violence (GBV)

– Financial matters

– Domestic violence

– Health matters

– Spiritual motivation.

The Ambassador of Domestic Violence also motivated the women to support one another and concluded by handing over the token of appreciation to all Women’s Network and Men for Change members.
