Crime fighting efforts supported by the Municipal Mayor

The South African Police Service in Lulekani outside Phalaborwa have welcomed the Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality Mayor Mr Pule Shai and his entourage during their visit at the Police Station.

The Giyani Cluster Commander, Major General Mbhazima Wilson Ngobeni accompanied by Mr Mothupi from Mopani District Safety and Security Office, also attended this event.

The Lulekani Police Station Lecture Hall was full to capacity. The venue filled with great emotions when the Mayor ascended to the podium to render his great speech. Nothing else but ululating and whistling from the men and women in blue in an honour to the Mayor.

The Honourable Mayor’s speech didn’t deviate but in support of the police for being effective at all the time when rendering service delivery.

When he proceeded with his speech, he congratulated the Lulekani Police for their up to standard performance when dealing with cases most especially sensational such as “rapes”.

When he concluded with his speech, he said the police deserve to be commended for their actions as all the time they are the mirror before hardened criminals. He added by saying that his office will be there to support the men and women in blue at all times during the serious battle of service delivery.

The pandemonium produced by the police during this festive season is not undermined but a complimentary.

He advised the police to use their strength and intelligence to deal with all criminals so that our society can have a safer environment during the festive period.

Undermining the great job by everyone at the society was condemned where he said let the police alone given such a respect.

In closure of his speech, he gave a round of applause to the Giyani Cluster Office under the leadership of Major General Ngobeni for their support during all the tough and great times the Municipality are going through.

In response on behalf of the police, Capt Makhubele whom his words of support left everyone with laughter. He congratulated the Mayor for taking his time and left his other serious job and visit the police. He further applauded the Mayor’s office for their support to the Police in their endeavour to fight against Crime. He further concluded by saying ” a single bungle can’t produce harmony therefore working together we can do more”.
