FISCKSBURG – The Welkom Public Order Police have arrested four suspects from Zone 3 in Meqheleng near Ficksburg for allegedly dealing in dagga.

On Tuesday, 06 September 2022, police received a concern from one of the schools where young boys are seen selling dagga to their fellow leaners, just few meters from school’s fence and a house was also identified in Zone 3.

Intelligence led information was followed up and it led to the arrest of four suspects of which two are brothers from the same house at Zone 3. The four aged between 19 and 22 are expected to appear before the Ficksburg Magistrate court Thursday, 08 September 2022 facing charges of dealing in dagga.
