Committee embark on annual report process for the 2015/16 financial year

As part of implementing the Gauteng Provincial Legislature’s (GPL) oversight and public participation mandates, the Portfolio Committee on Infrastructure Development will on Tuesday, 1 November 2016 host a Public Hearing Meeting in Ga-rankuwa.

The purpose of this meeting is to allow members of the public to participate in the Committee’s efforts of scrutinizing the performance of the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development for the 2015/16 financial year.

The Committee will review the annual report of the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development, which highlight actual performance realised against annual targets of the Department.

The Public Hearing Meeting will afford the people of Gauteng a platform to give input on performance report given by the department. As service recipients to whom the Department of Infrastructure Develop must account for service delivery, it is crucial that the people of Gauteng be afforded a platform to input on the services they receive.
