MEC Molapisi announces resumption of road construction project from Molelema to Matsheng, Taung

MEC for Public Works and Roads, Gaoage Oageng Molapisi will on Tuesday, 09 May 2023, announce the resumption of the construction of a road project from Molelema to Matsheng in Taung.

Road Project number PWR239/14 for the upgrading of gravel to surface standard of Road D209, D208, D206, D997, D220 and Z216 has been on hold for over two years now, due to a dispute between the Department of Public Works and Roads and the contractor, which has since been resolved.

The MEC will convene a community meeting to re-introduce the contractor and sod-turning ceremony as follows:
