CAPE TOWN – Members attached to Operation Lockdown ll, arrested a 52-year-old male on Thursday, 14 April 2022 for the possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle. A Grey Ford Ranger, was recovered at the corners of 35th Avenue and Robert Sobukwe Drive, Bishop Lavis.

In an unrelated matter, members working Operation Lockdown ll duties in Nyanga on the same day, around 19:00, followed up on information of alleged dagga being stored at a premises in Crossroads, Nyanga. The information was followed up and upon searching the premises, dagga with an estimated street value of R175 000 was found on the premises. A 43 year old suspect was arrested for dealing in dagga.

Both suspects will appear in court once charged.
