CAPE TOWN – On Wednesday, 09 November 2022, members of the Provincial Extortion Task Team conducted an intelligence driven operation in Swaeltjie Street, Langebaan after they have received information about drug activities at a premises. The members searched the premises and found 149 mandrax tablets, compressed dagga, one bag and 36 sachets dagga hidden in a Wendy house. A second wendy house was searched where the members confiscated 13 mandrax tablets and dagga.
Two males aged 25 and 51 were arrested and detained on charges of dealing in drugs.
The suspects are due to make their respective court appearances in the Vredenburg Magistrate’s Court once they have been charged.
