SAPS Mokwakaila continues with 16 Days of Activism campaign

MOKWAKAILA – The police in Mokwakwaila outside Tzaneen attended a church service at The Ark Family of God Church in Mokwakwaila Block 12 village today.
The aim of the visit at the church was to raise awareness on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide to the congregation in the commemoration of the 16 Days of Activism for no violence against women and children.
The team comprises of the Station Vispol Commander, Social Crime Prevention Coordinator, Community Police Forum and Young Civilian on Patrol led by the Station Commander Captain Mokgadi Manamela.
The following topics were outlined:
• Gender-based violence
• Domestic violence
• Sexual offences
• Procedure on applying for a protection order
• Drowning
In conclusion the Bishop of The Ark Family of God Church prayed for the police for their tireless efforts in the fight against crime.
