Suspect in Galeshewe found with dagga worth R30 000

NORTHERN CAPE – The Frances Baard Task Team followed up on information and pounced on an unsuspecting male and confiscated dagga worth R30 000-00.

On Friday, 04 February 2022 at about 05:00 the team searched the suspect’s house in Dingaan Hostels, Galeshewe.

The SAPS found the dagga stashed in bags inside the kitchen. The dagga weighs about 10kg.

The suspect should be appearing in the Galeshewe Magistrates’ Court soon on charges of dealing in dagga.

The Frances Baard District (FBD) Commissioner, Maj Gen Johan Bean commended the FBD Task Team for their good work that led to this outstanding arrest.
