Trio arrested on charges of dealing in dagga

BLOEMFONTEIN – The police in Marquard have successfully arrested three people from Moemaneng for allegedly dealing in dagga.

On Friday, 10 December 2021, an intelligent driven operation was conducted in Moemaneng near Marquard with the aim of addressing drugs and dagga dealers. The station Commander and his members successfully arrested three suspects aged between 30 and 37 for dealing in dagga. Plastic bags containing loose dagga weighing total of 5,2 kg with an estimated street value of R5000.00 were seized by police.

The three suspects are expected to appear before Marquard District Court on Monday, 13 December 2021 facing charges of dealing in dagga.
