KWAZULU-NATAL – On Monday 27 June 2022, Port Shepstone Serious Organised Crime Investigation, Durban K9 Unit and Durban Metro Drug team arrested two suspects aged 25 and 31 for dealing in drugs at Phoenix.

Members received information about the suspects who were dealing in drugs at Ricemore Close in Phoenix. An intelligence driven operation was conducted and members proceeded to the said area. Observations were made and the suspects were intercepted. Their vehicle was searched and 1610 heroin capsules to the street value of approximately R32 200.00 were found.

Both suspects were placed under arrest and charged accordingly. They are expected to appear in the Verulam Magistrate’s Court today.
