SINGAPORE, Dec. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire — Following a successful Tyrexpo India 2015 in Chennai in July, SingEx Exhibitions turns its attention to the sixth Tyrexpo Africa in Johannesburg next March. For a more holistic approach, Tyrexpo Africa 2016 has introduced three new focused segments – Automotive Repair & Maintenance, Services & Smart Solutions and Sustainability – allowing trade visitors to source from a wider range of product, services and solutions at the exhibition. With the new Smart Solutions and Sustainability profiles, both exhibitors and visitors will be able to find new solutions on tyre recycling, sustainable and smart solutions that can be used to manage or run their business more efficiently.

There will also be new side events including the TechTalk Seminar, Tyrexpo Technical Workshop and certification workshops targeted at the technicians in the tyre industry. Following their success at Tyrexpo India 2015, Elgi Rubber, a strong supporter of the Tyrexpo Series will be demonstrating several Tyre Repair Techniques at the Tyrexpo Technical Workshop. They will also showcase at least four new products, including their Flex Seal System which is easy to fit, has an improved temperature resistance and offers the most comprehensive range of tyre sizes.

“Tyrexpo Africa has been redesigned to offer a more holistic approach for the tyre industry to converge and do business in Africa. It will not just be a product showcase, but will also help participants connect with other players along the value chain, gather intelligence on industry trends, challenges and solutions for their business,” said Ms Eileen Hair, Project Director of Tyrexpo Series.

Recognising the value and importance of making relevant connections, SingEx Exhibitions aims to improve participants’ experience and networking potential with the Tyrexpo Business Matching Service. Ms Hair added, “Business matching is an integral element of the Tyrexpo Series experience and it has been very successful in facilitating meetings for our trade participants, allowing them to maximise their networking opportunities during the event.”

Tyrexpo Africa brings together over 2,000 regional tyre and automotive industry specialists to meet and conduct business in South Africa. With the city of Johannesburg’s Department of Economic Development and the National Treasury’s new injection of a R34 million project to set up an Automotive Industrial Park near Northern Johannesburg, Tyrexpo Africa is strategically placed to tap into the growing market potential in South Africa.
