{"id":49116,"date":"2022-12-27T10:38:53","date_gmt":"2022-12-27T10:38:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southafricahorizon.com\/?p=49116"},"modified":"2022-12-28T10:40:35","modified_gmt":"2022-12-28T10:40:35","slug":"saps-management-visit-bereaved-family","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southafricahorizon.com\/saps-management-visit-bereaved-family\/","title":{"rendered":"SAPS management visit bereaved family"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The devastating effect of domestic violence always stays a shock to the family members that stays behind and even more so if a child is left behind without a mother and a father.<br \/>\nToday the Joe Gqabi District Commissioner Maj Gen Lindelwa Vellem, Col Spambo and  Lt Col Jantjies together with Lady Grey members led by WO Adam, the acting Station Commander visited the family of a 16-year-old girl who was murdered by her boyfriend in the early morning hours on Monday, 26 December 2022.<br \/>\nThe deceased left a one-year-old baby behind.  The suspect is the father of the child and was arrested.<br \/>\nDuring the visit to the family they were comforted with a prayer led by Maj Gen Vellem and words of encouragement.
